Mini Vacations...all in your head?

In our business, we work, at times, very odd hours.  When we are in the middle of a big deal we can also work 10-12-15 hours a day.  We have all ran through the drive through  for lunch and brown bagged it in the office from time to time, but every now and then, we...you (!!!) need a break!  I am actually going to suggest that this "Break" become your norm!

My favorite place to unplug and recharge is on the wall at Diamond Head in Honolulu.  Sure, it helps to be a Hawaii Realtor (I don't have to fly to get there) but your place could be a nice park, along a river or stream (Go ahead!  Take your shoes off and hang your feet in the water!) or a place with a wonderful view!  Bring your lunch with you and BREATHE!  You can even bring or meet a friend up there...or down there, where ever you "There" is!

Where is your favorite "There"?  I would love to hear about it!

Cheers-

Mike

My escape is going to the barn and being with my horse.  For some reason, whenever I am with the horses, all my worries and stresses are gone.  It is very relaxing.  Believe it or not, even cleaning out the stalls is very relaxing.

Hi Brigita-  I totally understand.  You horse people are odd ones indeed!  We have two Quarter Horses and Gayle goes to the ranch everyday to fling pooh!  SHE LOVES IT!  I am not a pooh flinger...but I do understand how you guys love it!

Cheers-

Mike
