Great Hawaiian Homes Blog

Start at Home!

You know, we all look for ways to get our names out there and to "let the people know what we have to offer them as a Realtor".  We spend money on advertising, sit phones in our offices waiting for that person to walk in and become our client, we build websites and WE BLOG!

This is all a great start, but I would like to ask you to relax and go walk your dog through your neighborhood (If you don't have a dog BORROW ONE!), oh...and be sure to wear your Realtor Badge!  You will be amazed at the conversations that you will have and the relationships you will create!  (Business Cards in your pocket are a great idea too!)  Think about it!

Get down to the basics, it works!

Michael - so true, but with 65% of our homeowners not living here, it takes some of the opportunity out of a good dog walk. One of the things we do is have a neighborhood party every year.

Exactly!  We get so busy with all the "Other Stuff" it is easy to forget what the basics even are!

I love parties!  The best business is done when you are NOT DOING BUSINESS!  Can I come to your next party!

Cheers-

Can I borrow a neighborhood too Michael?  No, dog.  No, neighborhood.  Hmmm....good idea here but I would seriously feel funny walking my non-dog in my non-neighborhood, lol.

Hi Linda- Yes!  You can borrow one of my dogs and my neighborhood too.  I am in Honolulu so you might want to make a vacation out of it!  Don't take too long on the walk though, we are going to party at Gary's when you get back!

Cheers-

Mike

Good idea. The basics are always important to get back to.
